What RESOLV is
As we transition RESOLV from research and development phase to a dynamic commercial Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, our focus is to demonstrate our software and especially, to learn how we can advance your mission and ensure that our software works seamlessly with your image processing flow. This requires a dialogue protected by non-disclosure agreements.
We invite you to become an early adopter with special pricing for a service that will add value to your smallsat data. We promise to make the transition to surface reflectance output correct, easily understood, and well documented to preserve your competitive edge in the fast-evolving Earth observation industry.
No-cost Demonstration
To demo our workflow, we will calibrate your smallsat VNIR flock at no charge and deliver the software in a docker with verification documents for a one-month evaluation period. Contact us and we’ll describe the images we will need to support calibration.
Enrollment of Your Flock
After you verify that the RESOLV surface reflectance conversion provides the needed value, the next step is to enroll your flock for a year of service. Periodically during your enrollment, images evaluated from each smallsat can be processed to check that the output remains accurate. Because sensors degrade in orbit, smallsats may require regular recalibration.
The Software
RESOLV is supplied in a docker accompanied by a standalone file containing the calibration of each individual smallsat. Calibration will be updated more frequently than the RESOLV software, hence the standalone file format. Because of the critical nature of the data stream for producing images, safeguards will be put in place for verification so that this system is robust.
Your Operational Data Processing with RESOLV
RESOLV will reside at the end of your image process flow to process data. Because it needs no input other than the image, itself, it processes the data without delay. During an initial beta-version period, the corrected surface reflectance output can be bundled with TOAR to facilitate cross checks. We will work with your team to make this implementation rapid and pain free.
